Abstract

The integration and advancement of functionalities in automobile and airplane researches on the structural member of light weightiness and stability have been actively conducted. Recent researches and applications using fibre reinforced composite material have been actively explored. It has numerous benefits over aluminium alloy in weight, stiffness and strength for restriction on hazardous gas and needs for improved gas mileage. The specimens are manufactured according to change in cross- section(square tube and circle tube) or stacking angle for getting an optimal design (high strength and stiffness) There are manufactured by autoclave forming. Three-point flexural test is conducted to compare the corresponding strength and stiffness. Dimensions of the specimen and test apparatus were based on the ASTM. In the addition, hat shaped member, which is used for front shock absorption in the vehicle, is prepared to compare the corresponding strength and stiffness.
