Abstract
Elevated lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] is an independent inherited cardiovascular risk factor, causal in premature CVD and estimated to be elevated in 20% of the global population. Given the mounting evidence, GenesisCare is embarking on a Lp(a) prevalence and distribution study of its cardiology patients. Here we present a sub-cohort study wherein retrospective patients in our PCI registry with a documented Lp(a) value were assessed for clinical characteristics and outcomes.
