Abstract

This chapter explores the students' attitudes towards biblical conceptions represented by biblical conceptions of poverty, attitudes towards political and economic concepts or phenomena represented by state/society policy and poverty alleviation measures respectively and the attitudes towards social and economic concepts associated with the goals or the ends of the efforts towards the alleviation of poverty as represented by poverty alleviation ends. It explores the linkages between the attitudes towards biblical conceptions of poverty, state/society policy, poverty alleviation measures and poverty alleviation ends. It first draws out the direction of causality. The, it presents the regression and path analyses that links the empirical findings to the theoretical model provided by the direction of causality. The chapter presents the empirical findings of the casual linkages in form of path analysis diagrams.
