Abstract

Issues like global warming, ozone depletion, and acid rain are not confined by administrative boundaries. Environmental laws are the tools which help manage the conservation of natural resources across the country. To address these issues at the international level, various protocols like Kyoto, biodiversity conservation, etc. are formulated at the international level. This chapter deals with important protocols addressing global warming, ozone depletion, and climate change. In addition, tools that can be used to handle disputes between various countries with reference to pollution across borders are addressed in this chapter.
