Abstract

This chapter provides a summary of the interrelationship among views of self, transformative praxis, and religious experience in early Quanzhen Daoism. It gives more details concerning the and the specific characteristics of immortality or in early Quanzhen. The chapter presents a larger argument concerning the shift in ontological condition envisioned to follow from intensive Quanzhen religious praxis.
