Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of artificial intelligence dimensions (expert systems, genetic algorithms, neural networks, and smart systems) on the quality of decisions in healthcare institutions in the Sultanate of Oman. A simple random sample of 244 employees was chosen using the quantitative method. The questionnaire was used as the main tool for gathering data. A questionnaire was distributed to the administrative staff in healthcare institutions in Dhofar Governorate, Oman. The SPSS program was used to analyze the data obtained and test the study hypotheses. The study's findings demonstrated that all dimensions of artificial intelligence—expert systems, genetic algorithms, neural networks, and smart systems—have a significant effect on the quality of decisions by health institutions. Our findings can help healthcare policy-makers and managers make better decisions. With the use of digital health technologies, people can better manage and track health-related activities and daily activities.
