Abstract

The exact formulation of the multiplicative hyperelastic-based plasticity is given first within the framework of conventional elastoplasticity assuming a yield surface enclosing the purely elastic domain in this chapter. Further, the extended multiplicative hyperelastic-based plasticity is given by incorporating the subloading surface model, which is capable of describing not only the monotonic but also the cyclic loading behaviors, while only the subloading surface model would be able to be extended to the multiplicative hyperelastic-based plasticity amongst various cyclic plasticity models. The rigorous flow rules of plastic strain rate and the plastic spin are introduced in them. Furthermore, the extension to the rate-dependence is formulated as the multiplicative hyperelastic-based viscoplasticity by incorporating the concept of the overstress. Besides, the constitutive equations of metals and soils are given for these formulations.
