Abstract
The Hasselblad 503CW other 503, and V system cameras are good tools for digital imaging by simply attaching a digital back instead of the film magazine to the camera body. The cameras are operated the same way in digital imaging as they are in film photography. The V system cameras that do not have a built-in metering system can be equipped with a meterprism viewfinder for determining exposure with a built-in TTL metering system that can be used in both film and digital imaging. Whatever is discussed in this chapter applies also with digital backs on the cameras except that you need not worry about advancing or not advancing the film accidentally and protecting the film with a darkslide. Any special instructions for digital backs are discussed in Chapters 3 and 5.
