Abstract

The spatial characteristics and relationships of sound sources are an integral part of music and audio productions. Spatial elements are precisely controllable in audio recording, and sophisticated ways of using these elements have developed in audio and music productions. Spatial relationships and characteristics often present significant qualities in current music recordings, and are also important considerations in critical listening applications.
