Abstract

Respiration is a natural process, which is not only found in humans, animals, and insects but even also found in plants. In this chapter, we have only dealt with the human body respiration rate and analyzed the change in respiration rate with respect to variation of age through neutrosophic statistics. We have collected the respiration rate data manually of 200 aged between 1 and 18 years. For the analysis of these data, a modified neutrosophic formula, as well as classical formula, has been used to examine the data variation with respect to changes in age of people. As a result, it is found that respiration rate lowers/decreases with an increase in age. Also by comparing the results of neutrosophic and classical statistics, it is found that neutrosophic statistics is more informative, flexible, and adequate than classical statistics.
