Abstract

Meditation, relaxation, and yoga are commonly used, well-established mind–body practices for the self-management of mental health. With the rise of the mental health app field, a growing number of apps offer training in these practices; however, in proportion to the number of available apps, the scientific evidence underpinning their effectiveness is relatively scarce. Thus the present chapter through conducting a systematic literature review aimed to collect and present those meditation, relaxation, and yoga apps which have the highest evidence-base. This chapter was intended to serve as a guide to user’s and practitioners in choosing the most suitable app with the highest evidence-base.
