Abstract

This article discusses a number of the unique treatment and supervisory issues that can arise when training student therapists to work in a juvenile justice setting. Initially, a brief description of a training project is presented. Next, several of the treatment demands and therapist developmental issues associated with service delivery in a juvenile court system are described. In the final section, the process of supervising students to deal with these demands and to benefit from this training experience is discussed.
