Abstract

The increase in the use of biofuels in combustion engines is mainly justified by the reduction of pollutant emissions and carbon footprint and the decrease of the dependence on fossil fuels. The incorporation of these renewable fuels in reciprocating engines is widely accepted, but their penetration in jet engines is low, which makes necessary to promote research about the effect of these fuels in the aviation sector.
