Abstract

The paper considers the results of the study of geophysical fields in the Transcarpathian inland depression, which is a seismic region of Ukraine. On the territory of Transcarpathia local earthquakes are periodically registered, between which seismic calm is noted. In 2021, the expansion of rocks with a size of 12.6x10-7 was noted. Earthquakes are registered in the intervals of rock compression. Variations in solar activity and their relationship with geophysical parameters have been studied. The connection between solar activity and the value of the geomagnetic index is revealed. The correlation of bark movements and variations of solar activity is noted. Comprehensive analysis of geophysical and astrophysical parameters indicates time intervals in which geophysical and astrophysical parameters correlate with each other. Seismotectonic processes are accompanied by changes in the parameters of both geophysical fields and astrophysical quantities. The results are important for solving the ecological problems of the region and for their use in the study of the ecological state in the lessons of natural sciences and nature circles. The conducted research of geophysical aspects of the ecological state of Transcarpathia is important for the scientific community of border countries: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania, as similar geological phenomena occur in their territories. In the future, it is important to coordinate complex geophysical research in seismic-generating areas, in particular the Carpathian-Balkan region, exchange experience and research results, especially during the war.
