Abstract

As with all issues in our current world affected by technological change, information literacy is no exception. Various international information associations have responded to these changes by revising their definitions and guidelines. The Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) approved the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education in 2015, which has a number of connections to mindfulness. A significant amount of influence on the foundational viewpoint of the ACRL Framework is based on mindful ideas.
