Abstract
At present, in addition to polymer-based materials, selective laser sintering (SLS) materials that have been developed also include ceramic-based powder, precoated sand, and other inorganic nonmetallic materials. Inorganic nonmetallic materials, due to high melting points, are difficult to form directly by laser sintering, which is different from polymer-based materials. Therefore sintering is generally conducted by adding binders for forming.
