Abstract

The vast complexity of the medical establishment in the USA, and the very conservative approach of its practitioners, requires a significant cultural change before predictive analytics decisioning systems will catch on in America. This chapter relates necessary culture changes to specific elements of medical decisioning systems, and proposes how some of these changes can be implemented while still maintaining the “healing touch” of the physician.
