Abstract
During the last 2decades, several minimally invasive approaches for endocrine surgery have been developed. Minimally invasive video-assisted approaches gained a quite large worldwide diffusion., Indeed, most of these techniques combine the advantages related to the endoscopic magnification with those due to the close similarity with the conventional surgery that made these surgical approaches reproducible and feasible in different surgical settings. Laparoscopic adrenalectomy is the gold standard to remove adrenal tumors. The robot-assisted approaches still need further studies to fully identify their roles in endocrine surgery.
