Abstract

Nowadays, artificial intelligence (AI) plays a vital role in a wide range of fields, and it has also gained popularity in tackling complicated problems in power systems. Power systems have several restrictions; however, we can easily overcome these limitations using AI. Power generation and scheduling, weight forecasting, weight dispatch, power planning, and other aspects of the power system are all addressed. These techniques have had significant troubles working with the modern technical power system, and they also require more connections and installations to satisfy high load demands. AI techniques help to reduce most of these problems and efforts faced by the power system. AI techniques assist in reducing the majority of the issues and actions faced by the power system. Power system utilize the knowledge and logic of AI techniques such as artificial neural network, fuzzy systems, evolutionary computing, expert system, etc. These techniques are used in many applications of power system engineering.
