Abstract
Based in the United States, Technology Crops International (TCI) is a business with global reach focusing entirely on specialty oilseed crop commercialization and supply chain management, “from soil to oil.” Our mission is to remove the challenges associated with the commercial usage of specialty arable crops and develop robust, sustainable, and enduring supply chains for our stakeholders, which start with farmers and end with consumers. Ultimately, we are about creating value through the use of specialty crops, and this has become our main point of reference as we go through the process of developing commercialization strategies or building supply chains. We prioritize and rigorously test the question, “What value and what challenges does it present; and to whom?” I am the founder and CEO of TCI and have spent most of my career in commercial and executive roles relating to specialty arable crops.
