Abstract

Biomechanics provides research methods for researchers and clinical workers to reveal the occurrence and development of bone diseases and develop treatment and prevention strategies. This chapter analyzes the influence of abnormalities of bone biomechanics on bone diseases. Combined with clinical practice, the chapter reviews the application of mechanical stimuli in the treatment of bone diseases, including various fixation, vibration training, ultrasonic therapy, extracorporeal shock wave therapy, magnetic therapy, and massage therapy. These biomechanics technologies are playing an increasingly important role in the treatment and rehabilitation of bone diseases. How to maximize the advantages of each treatment technology and symptomatic treatment, improve the curative treatment effect, and promote the quality of life of patients is a problem we need to solve.
