Abstract

In this chapter, the issues of planning and design of flexible distribution networks are considered. First, the topology evolution with the integration of flexible distribution devices is analyzed, and typical scenario generation methods are given considering the uncertainty of distributed generators. Then, an optimal siting and sizing method of soft open point (SOP) is formulated. The multi-stage planning of SOP with energy storage is further studied considering tie-line reconstruction. Finally, the coordinated planning method of multiple flexible resources in the data center park is elaborated.
