Abstract

This chapter discusses a case study to demonstrate the value of using the Benefits Management Toolkit within a project to set up a benefits management process within an organization. The project referred to as “Organizational Change Programme” highlights the value of early benefits concept development and then the completion of the process via robust benefits tracking during realization. A year after the launch of the new portfolio process the organization was able to report significant growth. This was mainly due to its increase in customer base because of its reputation as an facilities management (FM) provider delivering cost effective fit for purpose services. The project's ability to find, prioritize and then deliver the major business changes moved them towards their vision as an FM provider of choice through meeting their strategic goals.
