Abstract
This chapter provides a survey for semi-tensor product (STP) of matrices. STP is a generalization of the conventional matrix product, which extends the conventional matrix product to two matrices of arbitrary dimensions. Moreover, it has certain commutative properties, called the pseudo-commutativity. In certain sense, it makes the matrix product more similar to scalar product of numbers.
