Abstract
Combining the CO2(aq)+H2O ↔ H+ HCO3– equilibrium and a slow removal of CO2 from the solution with an oscillatory H2O2–HSO3––[Fe(CN)6]4– system gives rise to chaotic temporal pH changes in a continuous-flow stirred tank reactor.
