Abstract

The control and synchronization of Modified Lorenz System (MLS) is investigated in this paper. We have used two different approaches Active Control (AC) and Backstepping scheme (BS). The chaotic behavior of the systems simulated by considering the control parameters. From our simulation we found that both techniques are always synchronized in case of the Master and derive system. We also analyzed the controllers of a non-linear system to observe the synchronization and the error of the dynamical system for infinite time. The Modified Lorenz System is taken to show the achievability and proficiency of theoretical results. We observe that the equilibrium points approach the origin by the BS method and become asymptotically stable by the AC method. From the study of the controller effect, it is found that the system is controlled via a single controller for BS design; however, three controllers are needed for AC design.
