Abstract

Many changes have occurred over the past decade in legal responsibilities of nurses. These reforms have led to attitude changes toward nurses by the legal, medical, and public realms. To avoid legal charges of negligence, nurses must keep abreast of the rapidly changing areas of instrumentation, documentation, and patient care.
