Abstract
In this essay there will be an introduction on ‘Honor killing’ in India, whereby there will be discussion on the impact of ‘Honor killing’ in past and its impact in modern Indian scenario and its causes. There will also be a discussion on the legislation with regard to honor killing now in India and will try to find out if there is any call from modern Indian society for a better legislation, there will be recommendation towards the present laws if there is any and for any new legislation to be introduced.
