Abstract
Ground water is a valuable resource for all aspects of society whether used for agriculture, commerce, industry, and more. Monitoring the depth of the water table is crucial when determining accessibility and use of this resource, especially in agriculture-heavy regions like Kansas. By subtracting the altitude of the surface from the depth of water in a well, the depth of the local water table can be determined. Using this well data gathered from various locations in Kansas at different can be used to observe past behavior of the water table as well as help predict future behavior.
