Abstract

Changes in the refractive indices of weakly absorbing liquids exposed to pulsed laser radiation have been calculated as functions of space and time based on numerical solution of equations for continuous media motion in the Lagrange form, the heat-conduction equation, and the Lorentz–Lorenz formula.
