Abstract

Summary This study replicates a survey of business students carried out in 1972 at the University of Sherbrooke (French) and the Bishop's University (English). The results indicate that between 1972 and 1978 the importance placed on job factors by French students approached the importance placed on job factors by English students. A strong positive trend was manifested by French students in answer to questions dealing with the perception of business. In contrast, English students' attitude towards business did not undergo major changes from 1972 to 1978.
