Abstract
The rate of protein synthesis, as measured by pulse-labeling with [3H] leucine, and the level of polysomes were found to be reduced considerably in conidia ofNeurospora crassa growing isometrically at 46°C, when compared to those in conidia normally germinating at 25°C.
