Abstract

Background: Biochemical response to neoadjuvant androgen deprivation therapy (nADT) predicts recurrence-free and overall survival for prostate cancer (PCa). PSA decline during nADT may represent intrinsic androgen sensitivity with poor response indicating higher risk of progression. With nADT, PSA often becomes undetectable making true quantification of the changes difficult. We performed radiomic feature extraction on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) before and after nADT to identify potential surrogate biomarkers associated with the tumoral response to nADT.
