Abstract

Currently, it can be considered established that diabetes mellitus is accompanied by significant changes in the immune system. However, the literature data characterizing them are not only ambiguous, but also contradictory. There are reports on the likely role of changes in humoral reactivity in the pathogenesis of a number of complications of diabetes mellitus. Previously, there were reports on the use of hemosorption in patients with generalized microangiopathies, but the impact of hemosorption on the immune system in patients with complicated forms of diabetes has not been studied.
