Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı; eğitim fakültelerindeki akademisyenlerin son yıllarda eğitim fakültelerindeki öğrenci profilindeki değişim, eğitim fakültelerine getirilen taban puan uygulaması ve eğitim fakültelerine öğrenci seçimine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Bu araştırma, 30 akademisyenle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma verileri, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formuyla elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde, betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, akademisyenlerin son yıllarda eğitim fakültesi öğrencilerinin özellikle nitelik olarak kalitesinin daha düşük olduğunu belirttikleri; eğitim fakülteleri için uygulanmaya başlanan taban puan uygulamasının faydalı olduğunu düşündükleri; eğitim fakültesine öğrenci seçilirken LYS'nin yeterli olmadığını, bunun yanı sıra öğrencilerin kişilik özelliklerinin, duyuşsal ve fiziki özelliklerinin de ölçülmesi gerektiğini belirttikleri ortaya çıkmıştır.

Changes in Education Faculties from the Viewpoints of Academic Staff: Student Profile, Base Score Application and Student Selection. Bu çalışmanın amacı; eğitim fakültelerindeki akademisyenlerin son yıllarda eğitim fakültelerindeki öğrenci profilindeki değişim, eğitim fakültelerine getirilen taban puan uygulaması ve eğitim fakültelerine öğrenci seçimine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemektir.
