Abstract

SUMMARY Ultrasonic pachometry readings were recorded at selected intervals during radial keratotomy. Findings indicate that during surgery on the dry cornea, there is significant reduction in corneal thickness. The range in corneal changes reported indicates the need to monitor corneal changes during surgery.
