Abstract

The seed material of Phaseolus vulgaris L assortment Varun was treated with natural mutagen with various portions of gamma beams like 30kR ,40kR, 50kR and 60kR and synthetic mutagen Ethyl Methane Sulphonate (EMS) at the various fixations like 0.10% , 0.15 % , 0.20% , 0.25% . The treated M2 phenotypic offspring demonstrated distinctive blossom shading transformations like white, purple, blue, red, and yellow as freaks created because of the impact of natural and compound mutagens. The control descendants demonstrated unique slight pink shading blossom. The level of blossom shading change expanded by the portions/convergences of the mutagens. The most elevated level of blossom shading transformation were recorded in 0.25% of EMS and least level of bloom shading change were found in 30kR of gamma beams. The accomplishment of blossom shading change could be establishing higher dosages/fixations when contrasted with lower portions/focuses.
