Abstract
What has gone on in the heads of GDR citizens, in the younger as well as the older generation, in the last years? How did the revolutionary change of fall 1989 foreshadow itself at least on an intellectual level? After all, revolutionary processes are activated when certain changes in psychological opinions and attitudes of large groups in the population effectively serve as prods to set off these processes.
