Abstract

This paper represents a continuation of the experimental studies in saurian malaria described by Thompson and Huff (1944a and b), which included descriptions of 3 new species of parasites, observations on their life cycles, and data on various other aspects of the infections in several species of lizards. It is now possible to describe the entire course of the initial infections and certain changes associated with acquired immunity in saurian malaria. The immunity studies are restricted primarily to observations made from blood smears
