Change of catalyst texture upon the partial filling of its voids with active components, coke, sulfur, etc.

Abstract

The changes in the main texture characteristics of catalysts, adsorbents, supports and other porous bodies are analyzed, upon the partial filling of their voids with the added components: coke, sulfur, active components of supported catalysts, etc. Equations are derived, that relate the changes of texture with the content and distribution of the introduced component.
