Abstract

In this work, for the first time, the coincidence of the proposed theoretical foundations of the methodology for calculating the dimension and energy characteristics of an optical image is shown, in contrast to the previously known to substantiate the separate consideration of the apparent angular size of the Sun 2γ from the accuracy parameters of manufacturing the SCS BLB (γ+Δα). On the example of a comparative assessment of operational measurements with the calculated ones during the past eclipses, where changes in the value of 2γ took place while the value of Δα was constant. These comparative estimates of theoretical and experimental results were carried out during partial solar eclipses that took place on August 1, 2008 and December 26, 2019.
