Abstract
The American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the American Heart Association (AHA) updated the definition of stage 1 hypertension by lowering the threshold blood pressure in 2017. Our objective was to determine the impact of the update on the prevalence of chronic hypertension (CHTN) in pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes in patients with CHTN in the US.
