Abstract
AbstractA phenomenological theory is developed to study the relative change in electron mass and collision frequency when an acoustic wave propagates through piezoelectric semiconductors. The results show that the change in collision frequency is more than that in electron mass for all acoustic wave frequencies in n‐CdS, and is more appreciable at lower temperatures.
