Abstract

Electric heating regimes are determined for mixture self-compaction. Three periods of change in its specific electrical resistance are noted due to the water absorption capacity of the plant supplement. The relationship between electrophysical processes and their influence on mixture compaction is described. A scheme of drying raw material according to the moisture loss rate is considered. A firing regime is selected taking into account the influence of gases formed during vegetable additive burn-off and volumetric changes in clay during sintering. The microstructure of lightweight material is distinguished by a large number of circular closed pores in the range of 0.1 – 1.2 mm.
