Abstract

ChamberSign a.i.s.b.l. (international non Profit Association) is an initiative set up by Chambers of Commerce with the aim to create a comprehensive architecture for secure business-to-business electronic commerce across international borders. The ChamberSign focus is to promote and enable the digital signature technology, making it widely available to the business community and achieving international recognition and interoperability.With Certificate Authority’s in nine different countries throughout Europe issuing digital certificates to its members, ChamberSign. has implemented a Bridge CA. The solution is an initiative set up by Chambers of Commerce with the aim to create a comprehensive architecture for secure business-to-business electronic commerce across international borders. The ChamberSign focus is to promote and enable the digital signature technology, making it widely available to the business community and achieving international recognition and interoperability. Today with various CA infrastructures available in each member country, the ChamberSign Bridge CA is the approach to meet the objectives.
