Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the challenges facing the challenges facing e - learning after the Corona pandemic (Covid 19) from the point of view of teachers of basic education schools in the Sultanate of Oman. as well as showing the significance statistical differences of the study sample viewpoint towards these challenges due to the variables of the gender variable were defined,The researcher used the descriptive analytical method,The study sample consisted of (786) male and female teachers, including (327) male and (459) female teachers. A questionnaire was applied that included (43) items distributed on four dimensions، the first dimension is related to the challenges related to the school, and it consists of (11) items, and the second dimension is related to The challenges related to the faculty and it consists of (11) paragraphs، the third dimension related to the challenges related to the curriculum، and it consists of (11) paragraphs, and the fourth dimension is linked to the challenges related to students and consists of (11) paragraphs The study concluded several results, the most important of which is that the challenges facing distance e-learning came in the fourth dimension, which states the challenges related to students، then the third dimension, which stipulates challenges related to the curriculum,and in the third rank came the second dimension related to challenges related to the teaching staff، and in the fourth rank came the first dimension related to schoolrelated challenges. The results of the study also indicated that there are statistically significant differences in the challenges facing distance e-learning due to the gender variable in favor of females. And the absence of statistically significant differences due to the variable of experience and academic qualification, and the study recommended the necessity of holding training courses for the teaching staff on computerized programs and educational platforms to raise their competencies on the use of distance education and increase societal awareness of the importance of distance education, and the need for institutions to cooperate with the Ministry of Education and provide adequate support To maintain its continuity in the management of distance education
