Abstract

Objective: To identify the challenges faced by nurses in the implementation of the systematization of nursing care in the urgent and emergency sectors in pediatrics. Method: Descriptive study with quantitative and qualitative character. Data production was performed by individual electronic questionnaire with the participation of 21 nurses, which generated discussion about the realization and implementation of the systematization of nursing care. The study design brings as a scenario the Urgency and Emergency of the only Children's Hospital in the State of Roraima. All material produced underwent content analysis according to Bardin. Results: recognition of systematization in a dubious way and evidence of the verb lack as responsible for its implementation (lack of time, personnel and management). Conclusion: The factors that contribute to the difficulty of implementing the systematization of nursing care in health services are diverse, however, creating viable strategies for the viability of this process is indispensable for it to occur satisfactorily.
