Abstract

AS SOCIAL NETWORKING and Internet connectivity becomemore available throughout theworld, nurses around the globe are able to communicate and learn from each other. They can now share experiences and knowledge as never before. Our nursing colleagues in countries other than the United States face cultural challenges that we do not. In lesser-developed countries, cultural differences place women in situations where they suffer from inequality problems and are limited in their ability to seek education and employment opportunities that we in the United States take for granted.
