Abstract

This article seeks to elucidate the problems that hinder Tribunals established various acts of parliament from achieving their mandate. The Tribunals are meant to supplement the ordinary court system in the administration of justice. Thus the Tribunals are envisioned to make decisions that promote the tenets of rule of law and the principles of natural justice. This paper seeks to interrogate the nexus between the functions as envisaged through the law and the reality on the ground whether the Tribunals perform their functions as per the spirit of the law.
