Abstract

Twelve species of chalcidoid parasitoids were found parasitizing the eggs and larvae of Hypsipyla robusta, a serious pest of toon (Cedrela toona) and mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) trees in India. These are: Antrocephalus hakonensis, A. hypsiphylae, Brachymeria euploeae, B. hearseyi, B. tachardiae, Kriechbaumerella destructor (Chalcididae); Tetrastichus spirabilis, Trichospilus diatraeae (Eulophidae); Diomorus orientalis (Torymidae); and Trichogramma minutum, Trichogrammatoidea nana and T. robusta (Trichogrammatidae). They are redescribed and a key for their identification is given.
